StartCloudOps ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our software-as-a-service platform collects, uses, processes, and protects your information when you access our website, applications, and customer reputation management services.
database2. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve our reputation management platform:
- Account Information: Full name, email address, password hash, and business name when registering.
- Business Location Data: Business name, address, Google Place ID, and Google Business Profile account identifier.
- Billing & Payment Information: Payment transactions are handled securely via authorized payment gateways (e.g. Razorpay). We do not store full credit card or sensitive financial credentials.
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage logs.
3. Google API Services & Google Business Profile Data
StartCloudOps' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When you connect your Google Business Profile to our platform:
- Scopes Requested: We request authorization to manage your business listings and reviews (
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage). - Data Accessed: Verified business location details, customer review text, reviewer public display names, star ratings, and review timestamps.
- Purpose of Use: We access this data strictly to display incoming reviews in your private dashboard, calculate reputation analytics, and assist you in drafting AI-powered replies using Google Gemini.
- No Data Reselling or Advertising: We never sell, rent, lease, or monetize your Google account data, business profile information, or customer review content to third parties or advertising brokers.
- Human Review of AI Output: All AI-generated review responses require explicit user approval before publishing to Google Business Profile.
lock4. Data Storage, Security & Retention
We use industry-standard security measures: TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords (bcrypt), and encryption at rest for the Google access tokens that let us manage your Business Profile. Access to our servers and database is restricted.
We keep your account and Google Business Profile data only while your account is active. When you delete your account, your account, businesses, synced reviews, AI replies, review-link statistics, activity history and Google tokens are permanently deleted, and our Google access is revoked. We keep only what the law or abuse prevention requires, without your name or email: payment records (amount, date, payment ID) for accounting and tax, and a note that each Google location has used its free trial.
delete_forever5. User Rights & Data Deletion Requests
You have full ownership of your data. You may at any time:
- Revoke StartCloudOps' access to your Google account via Google Security Settings.
- Delete your account and data yourself, any time: Dashboard → Settings → Delete my account and data. Any subscription is cancelled first, so you are not charged again.
- Or ask us to do it by emailing support@startcloudops.in; we complete requests within 7 days.
- Your reviews and our replies remain on Google, as they belong to your Google Business Profile; you can manage them there.
